Prinicpal's Message

Hello and welcome to Brookdale Public School. Brookdale is a K-8 single track (English) school located in the heart of South-West Oakville. We are the proud home of the Brookdale Broncos and have a very active population of approximately 315 students. We are a family oriented school with long standing celebrated traditions merged with new and innovative programs. We work closely with our parent community through our School Council as well as our Home and School Association. If you are looking for opportunities to volunteer your time and talents through these school groups please contact our school office.

At Brookdale students are actively engaged through a variety of curricular and extra-curricular opportunities. Traditional athletic opportunities include the Terry Fox Run, Cross County and Track & Field teams, Volleyball, Basketball and Soccer to name a few. Academic opportunities include Robotics, Technology and Think Bowl competitions. Our grade 7 & 8 student ambassadors take on a very active leadership role within the school. Our Student Parliament, We Team, Eco Team support the school and school community through various endeavors i.e., We Scare Hunger, Spirit Days to name a couple.

I am in my first year as Principal of Brookdale and am thrilled to be here and working with a very caring and dedicated group of educational professionals that call and make Brookdale their home. Our students are certainly one of the most respectful and courteous group of young folks. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank for visiting our website.  Welcome to Brookdale!
