As many of you know the HDSB has transitioned away from Cashless Schools and is now using School Cash Online.   If you are not able to set up an online account, please contact the office and we will be happy to help or you can contact the parent help desk at 1-866-961-1803.  Please take a few minutes over the summer and register for your online account.  This new system also accepts credit cards!  Anyone who pays for Term 1 pizza or Term 1 milk in the new School Cash Online system will receive an opportunity to win their purchase.

The office will not open in August until August 28th due to the Ministry of Labour designating Brookdale as a construction zone.  While we will be returning on August 21st, the school cannot be opened for visitors.  If you have any questions or concerns please call 905-827-2741 and we will be happy to do what we can to help. If you have a child/children who need to be registered for September, please call the above number the week of August 21st.

Thank you to the Halton Learning Foundation for not only funding our Stream of Dreams through an Environmental Grant but for the purchase of one of our two new basketball nets and backboards in the gym with a Physical Education Grant.  Through what they call "Engagement Funds" they help schools to purchase additional resources and equipment and fund educational programs and experiences.  That's not all they do.  "Eliminating Barriers" funding is emergency funding and subsidies that help HDSB students-in-need come to school and stay engaged in learning.  These funds could help purchase groceries, winter coats, boots, clothing, or many other things that a lot of us take for granted.  We would like to "pass it on" to the HLF so they can continue to help the students across the Board.  If you would like to make a donation please send it to the school or make it on Cashless Schools.  All funds raised will go directly to the Halton Learning Foundation and to the students of the HDSB.

In June 2016, after extensive parent, staff, student and public consultation, the Board of Trustees voted to change the delivery model for the early French Immersion (FI) program in the Halton District School Board.
