  • EARLY DISMISSAL!!! Please remember to make arrangements for the pick-up of your son(s)/daughter(s) on Friday December 23rd as we will be dismissing an hour and half early - 1:35 pm.  Busses and crossing guards will follow the shortened day.

  • PIZZA DAYS!!! Term 2 Pizza begins the week back from Winter Vacation.  If you are paying on Cashless (the preferred method) we do not require a form.  If you are paying cash or cheque we do require a form along with payment to Brookdale Home and School Assoc.  The order form is attached for your convenience and will be sent out in hard copy later this week.

  • HOLIDAY CONCERT Come one come all to our annual Holiday Concert on Thursday, December 15th.  Our students in grades 1-8 will be having an evening performance of singing and instrumental music. Performers are expected to be here by 6 pm with the concert beginning at 6:30.  As there is no charge to the concert and in the spirit of the season we are asking for a non-perishable food donation that we will take to the local food bank. WINTER WONDERFUL BASKET RAFFLEAs is our tradition at Brookdale, the staff get together and create some WONDERful baskets with items such as chocolate and wine.  This is fun for the grown ups so tickets are purchased at the door by ...

  • ROCK YOUR LOCKS Brookdale will be participating in an upcoming event called "Rock your Locks". The purpose of the event is to create awareness and to encourage students (and the Brookdale community as a whole) to consider donating their hair. We will be holding a school wide kick-off event Wednesday November 30 during period 3, at which time Mme Logan  will be donating her hair. Here is some info for the community event in March:Schools in south west Oakville are teaming up and planning a hair donation event next March 2017.  Hair will be donated to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program and 360 Hair and made into wigs for children and adults with hair loss, including hair loss from cancer.  We ...

  • HOMEWORK HELP We are offering Homework Help in the library on Tuesday and Thursday mornings 8:00 - 8:40.  This is for students in grades 4-8.  Time can be used to complete homework, receive assistance and/or practice academic skills. This is a drop in program, no registration is required.
