Our School
Brookdale Public School has a rich history in Oakville. During the 2009 / 2010 year we will celebrate 50 years in the community. Throughout those 50 years, many of our past graduates have become residents in the surrounding area, with Brookdale as the school for their children. A focus during the coming months is to organize a 50'th anniversary homecoming scheduled for October 2010.
Brookdale is a K to 8 school with approximately 345 students from ages 3 to 14 years old. Our kindergarten program is a full day, alternate day format with blended JK / SK classes. Our extracurricular programs, such as athletic teams, instrumental band, environment club, drama, and robotics provide exceptional learning opportunities.
We encourage parents to become involved in school life by volunteering. There are many opportunities to help within the office, with clubs and learning programs, the school library, or participating with School Council. If you would like to volunteer at the school, please contact the office at 905-827-2741. We are happy to find ways to work together and help our students achieve their learning goals.
Be sure to check out our teacher web sites as we use technology to enhance our connections with you !
